In the lesson “3D Computer-Aided Design“, students’ understanding of the digital creation of three-dimensional objects is improved. This lesson is made as the next level for the lesson “2D Computer-Aided Design” and the previously acquired knowledge and skills are supplemented with the development of spatial thinking and perception. Through design thinking activities, the results are transformed into a digital format in class, students gain knowledge and skills in using TinkerCAD software, working with a 3D printer and a large-format CNC milling machine, resulting in the creation of tangible objects with practical usage.
