What is the Science and Education Innovation Center (ZIIC)?
The Science and Education Innovation Center is a structural unit of the Liepaja Municipal Education Department, which was established in 2019.
What does ZIIC do?
The center offers interactive exhibits so that visitors can try different technologies and test the laws of nature for themselves. Existing exhibitions at ZIIC will help to arouse interest, search for answers, understand them and enjoy cognitive pleasure in the field of
environmental science and technology.
Who runs ZIIC?
Kristine Niedre – Lathere leads the Liepaja Municipal Education Department, while Kitija Kuduma is the Acting Manager of Science and Education Innovation Center. All the staff of ZIIC can be found here.
What is the structure of the ZIIC?
ZIIC is located in two places in Liepaja: Autoru Street 4/6, where various lessons in the field of technology take place, while Zirgu sala 2 has a Nature House, where activities take place in the field of environmental sciences.
