Insects are the most species-rich class of animals. Preserving their diversity is particularly important for the ecosystem to function properly. The Nature house is home to two special species of insects – Australian weaver ants and Madagascar cockroaches. In the lesson, students get acquainted with the insects living in the Nature House, their appearance, structure, properties, habits, as well as students learn general features of bugs, the importance of insects. Through movements and games students get into the insect’s skin. In order to explore the insect’s body parts, students will use magnifiers and microscopes. The brave students have the opportunity to take cockroaches in their own hands.
